Have you recently received the My Journey Kit?

Hi all,

There's a lot of new faces in the online network lately and many of you may not know me.  I'm BCNA's Media Manager and work to get media coverage of breast cancer and the services and support BCNA provides.

I'm currently working to promote the fact we have recently sent out our 100,000th My Journey Kit. A few major metropolitan newspapers are interested in doing a story with a woman who recently recieved a kit from us.

I am looking for women in either Melbourne or Sydney who were recently diagnosed with breast cancer, who recieved a copy of the My Journey Kit in the last month or two and is willing to share their story.

I completely understand that many newly diagnosed women will not feel ready to speak publicly about their breast cancer.

However if you do feel comfortable and are interested, please let me know by either replying to this blog or emailing media@bcna.org.au

The opportunity would involve an interview and photograph at your home, with the questions focusing on your diagnosis and treatment.

Please get in touch if this is of interest to you.

Cheers,
Laura
