Four BCNA members from NSW have shared their personal breast cancer experiences in the Sunday Telegraph on the weekend.

  • Monica Calderwood - still undergoing treatment
  • Louise Turner - recently completed treatment
  • Isabelle Shaprio - five years cancer free
  • Kirsty Smith - secondary breast cancer

You can read their stories online via Sunday Telegraph.

The story also ran a mention of BCNA and encouraged readers to approach us for a copy of My Journey Kit. We are thrilled to have had several NSW women call us this morning after reading the article.

Thank you to Monica, Louise, Isabelle and Kirsty for sharing their own unique stories to raise awareness of breast cancer.

  • would love to see some balance in these articles---or variety of experience--how about a woman who had small lump removed, no chemo? And managing that fear by not having both breasts removed? (if of course you have that gene-thats another matter!)

  • Thank you Monica, Louise, Isabelle and Kirsty for your very inspirational account of your journey.
