Nsw has about 8.5 million people and about 9000 with mets Qld has about 5.5 million people with 3800+ with MBC. Its still too many. Then there's all the other cancers that have gone metastatic. We need better support services and research this is only the start of awareness to the extent of this
i wonder how Canberra would react if all of us with Mets from every state descended on Canberra
I actually wonder if they have captured everyone but its a start. Yes it's too many of us and many with out support. But data can influence the government. Just need the other states and territories to catch up. Then all the other cancer types with mets should also be captured. Money talks and if the government could see how much they have to spend on our care they may act to save us with speeding up the tga process and getting drugs on the pbs as well as other services to support us. Fingers crossed.
