Counterpart - a terrific service for women with Breast Cancer ....

"Counterpart" is a community-based, supportive care service that complements the existing medical system and other cancer support services. They do not provide medical advice. Their service complements the medical system by directing you to reliable information tailored to your needs. You can then make informed decisions for yourself. All services are free and confidential.

  • Counterpart has access to some amazing links for all BC - early stage and Mets ..... I've just signed up to their mailing list.

    Keep an eye on the Counterpart Webcasts too .... in Sept they have one on the use of medicinal Cannabis Oil & Bone Mets

  • I thought reflexology was supposed to relax you!
  • Yes I went there but it must've been too early.  The lady doing the Reflexology said I was uptight and not relaxed.......I was thinking hey what can you expect I've just had a Mastectomy and here's a stranger playing with my feet.  Physically she said I was fine so it was just too early....LOL!
  • I have been to their Melbourne office and they offered free reflexology. They are very supportive and most of the volunteers there have had BC themselves
