Assoc Professor Hingston is specialist Oncoplastic Surgeon based in Port Macquarie and is a well regarded pioneer of new genomic assessments to improve breast cancer management, while Dr Moradi is a Consultant Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, who works as a Visiting Medical Officer at Prince of Wales, Royal Women’s, Westmead Hospitals and Port Macquarie Private. Dr Moradi is also an Associate Lecturer at UNSW and the University of Sydney Medical Schools.
In addition, women from the Mid North Coast region who have been through the reconstruction process will be sharing their stories, and local health and support services will be in attendance.
