Best Supplements for Hair Growth and Thickness | Recommendations by Expert
I researched the best supplements for hair growth and thickness for the past few days because I have been noticing my hair getting thinner and dull lately. I read reviews on Healthline, Forbes Health, and Medical News Today, and they are marking these two as the best options in 2025: Nutrafol Men's Hair Growth Supplements https://www.amazon.com/Nutrafol-Supplement-Clinically-Thicker-Looking-Stronger-Feeling/dp/B00LTZEEGQ Divi Scalp Serum for Thinning Hair https://www.amazon.com/Divi-Hair-Scalp-Serum-Women/dp/B0BQ3Z7NV7?th=1 From what I found, Nutrafol helps nourish hair from within by providing essential vitamins like biotin, zinc, and marine collagen, which can improve hair thickness and reduce shedding. On the other hand, Divi Scalp Serum works externally by revitalizing the scalp with caffeine, peptides, and amino acids, creating a healthier environment for stronger hair growth. However, I am still unsure which one might work best in the long term. My main goal is to reduce hair fall, promote thicker strands, and maintain a healthier scalp overall.Has anyone here tried either of these or found a supplement that truly worked for you? I would love to hear some real experiences or expert advice before deciding which one to go for.thanks in advance for your suggestions45Views0likes2CommentsLow Vitamin D level
Hello everyone, I had my second AC treatment yesterday and got the result of a Vitamin D blood test which showed my level was 37 which is low. I now have to start on a massive dose of Vitamin D made up by a compound chemist. Has anyone else had this problem? I would be interested to hear. Thank you.255Views1like29CommentsUnintended Consequence
Just had a visit to my GP for routine blood results and had a nice surprise to hear that my vitamin D reading was excellent (95)! Not too shabby for the middle of winter. It has been a lot lower, especially before I was diagnosed with BC (there does seem to be some correlation between the two but that's a whole other discussion for another day). My doc asked if I was taking supplements? Answer no. I was thinking on the way home what the difference might be and I think it might be mushrooms ??? I eat mainly plant based now and have mushrooms 3-4 times a week. They are high in Vitamin D ....taste great, are in season now .........and no I don't work for a mushroom company :D :D408Views9likes11CommentsLow Vitamin D level
Ive Just completed my last AC infusion....yay! As my vitamin D level was low I’ve also just finished taking 50,000 units (one tablet per week for 5 weeks ) and the results are that my level has gone from 37 to 93 which is great! I will start on Taxol weekly for 12 weeks on 11/4/18,so this BC show is well and truly on the road!73Views0likes7CommentsVitamin D and link to Breast Cancer
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer this year. I have only recently finished my radiation treatment and am now on Tomoxifen for 5 years. In the last month, it was noted that my Vitamin D level was on the low side. Yesterday I happened to visit a musculoskeletal doctor about a muscular issue, who happened to tell me about an inconclusive study that shows low vitamin D and its connection to a heightened risk of breast cancer re-occurrence. You can imagine my horror when I heard that. Has anyone else come across this?426Views0likes16Comments
