I love Hot Cross Buns!
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share with you all just how much I love Hot Cross Bun, I really LOVE them! I have had to contain myself all week to stay away from the Bakers Delight kitchen (located upstairs in our building) where I know they have been living, however the wait is over. I wanted to share with you this picture I saw on the Bakers Delight Facebook page this morning that has my mouth watering right now and the fun they have been having with their buns. Do you love hot cross buns as much as I do? Plain or Chocolate? Fresh or Toasted? YUM!256Views0likes8CommentsHelp us give breast cancer the finger…bun!
Dear members, We know that breast cancer doesn’t just affect the woman or man who has been diagnosed – it has a ripple effect on partners, children, friends, colleagues and all loved ones. This year more than 17,000 Australian women and 144 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer, making the need for support and credible, evidence-based information more important than ever. That’s why, with the support of our long-standing partners, Bakers Delight, we’re calling on the Australian community to give breast cancer the finger bun! (In this picture: @AngelaLucia, @L4N, @tiffanybarbra, and @SKate.) From 11 May to 31 May 2017 pop into your local Bakers Delight and buy a Pink Bun to support all Australians affected by breast cancer. This year you can also: Support the campaign by buying a special Bakers Delight Pink Bun carry bag. Purchase a Pink Lady silhouette and write a message of support to be displayed in your local Bakers Delight bakery, or make a donation in the tins on the counter. Get your workplace, school, social or community group involved by hosting a Pink Bun Party. On registration, BCNA will send you a Pink Bun Party pack free of charge, containing everything you need to turn your party pink! Register your Pink Bun Party here! The money that Bakers Delight bakeries raise during the Pink Bun campaign funds essential BCNA services, including the My Journey Kit, our information pack, which is provided to people when they are first diagnosed with breast cancer. Each year we send out more than 12,000 My Journey Kits free of charge. We are excited to see everyone get involved in the campaign again this year, and we are also inviting you to share your support on social media using #givebreastcancerthefingerbun. You can read more about the campaign here. We are very thankful for the support of Bakers Delight and the community every year, and want to thank everyone for helping us to give breast cancer the finger bun!133Views0likes2CommentsVolunteer for Pink Bun campaign

Good Afternoon, As many of you will already know, BCNA and Bakers Delight have had a very close partnership for a number of years, and our organisation would not be where we are today without their genuine and ongoing support. This year BCNA feels honoured to mark 13 years - or a ‘baker’s dozen’ - of unwavering support from Bakers Delight for Australians affected by breast cancer. Bakers Delight has been with BCNA every step of the way, supporting our Founder Lyn Swinburne in her vision for the organisation from the outset. 13 years on and the partnership continues to go from strength to strength. Our annual Pink Bun campaign reached new heights this May, raising an incredible and record-breaking $1.2 million for BCNA! Since the partnership began Bakers Delight has raised over $7.7 million for BCNA! Pink Bun campaign Thank you to the many BCNA members who linked-up with their local bakery, putting a face to the campaign and thanking the bakers for donating their own time and ingredients to make the Pink Buns each day. This year saw BCNA members feature on the in-store bakery material, putting real faces to the campaign of women who have benefitted from Bakers Delight’s generosity. Thank you to Irene, Debbie, Sara, Cynthia and Isabelle for sharing your stories. Ongoing support Bakers Delight support BCNA in numerous ways throughout the year. We do not know of any other company that contributes 100% of funds raised through sales of a specific product in their stores going straight to supporting the work of a charity. Without Bakers Delight we simply could not offer support to the 15,000 women who will be diagnosed this year and the 200,000 women living with the impact of their breast cancer. So thank you Bakers Delight bakeries! And when you're next out shopping, or passing by your local Bakers Delight, why not pop in and say thanks to the staff for their incredible support of BCNA? Lots of pink love, Thea21Views0likes1CommentPink Bun Fun Day
