Men's experience with breast cancer - BCNA interviews
Hi everyone, BCNA are looking for a male who has breast cancer to do a phone interview in the next couple of days for national media outlets. The interview and an accompanying photo will be distributed through the media next week. National male breast cancer awareness day is on Wednesday 20 October and we are very keen to showcase the issues males experience having breast cancer. Ladies that are going thru BC or are part of the BC Support Groups the Male BC guys out there need your support. We need to start a program of “INCLUSION” With your support we can change the attitude of those in charge of all the BC groups and get Male Breast Cancer included in all advertisements, campaigns and fund raising. Not just acknowledged one day a year in October. The males going thru BC are your husbands, sons, brothers, uncles and possibly best friends. They need your voices and support to bring MBC to the forefront and be INCLUDED. Giving our support, contact and post information about MBC. We have made contacts around the globe. And receive good support and info from Male Breast Cancer Coalition in USA as RR can verify. You will now struggle to find any images relating to MBC, MAYBE one or two. Is Pinkoctober just becoming a commercial feast to get donation and for companies to make profits by jumping on the BC bandwagon. LADIES the BC Men are out there and need your support. BC is not gender specific. Without your support pushing the pink charities to make October not just for the ladies, and more inclusive of the men.
