Hi all and happy new year to everyone, Just a reminder if you belong to our group that as it's private, therefore the posts don't appear in this main feed. We always have members looking for support so if you haven't been to the group lately please pop over and see if you can offer some words of wisdom. We have some new members who are after some support. Have you undertaken the Mona Lisa Touch? What have you found works for dryness? We also have a post by BCNA about a Q & A session they are looking at running on the subject, come and give us your thoughts. We have other members seeking support as they realise that in fact they are struggling with intimacy since being diagnosed. We have generous ladies sharing and updating us on various options, which is so helpful to others who come behind us. It can be such a confronting time so please pop over to the group if you could offer some words of wisdom or just to say hi. . Here is the our Link http://onlinenetwork.bcna.org.au/group/9-lets-talk-about-vaginas if you would like to pop over or would like to join. If you are new and requesting to join, once you put your request in and leave us a message, myself or one of the other volunteer group leaders should respond and join you up within 24 hours. It is wonderful to see members getting information and support from other members. Alice @SoldierCrab Kath @primek101Views1like2Commentsinformation about the private group Let's talk about Vaginas

Lost Libido Ladies is a private group to discuss sexual health and breast cancer. @DaisyMarigold has kindly requested that this group be formed once again and she will lead it. Discussions about sexual health may be had in other parts of the online network such as Tests, treatments and side effects or Health and wellbeing. But if you want more privacy, then the Lost Libido Ladies group may be for you. Request to join at http://onlinenetwork.bcna.org.au/group/9-lost-libido-ladies251Views0likes15CommentsThe Lost Libido Ladies
Hi everyone. If you're one of the many women who have lost their libido and are finding sex painful after cancer treatment, please do join us at the Lost Libido Ladies. Our private group had nearly 100 members but was unfortunately removed when the new website was set up. The group has been reinstated, but we can't access our old members. So please apply to join, and we'll get things moving again. Apparently some of our discussions are on other parts of the website, so we'll try to find them and see if we can add links or copy them across. I was going to do a broadcast post regarding an update on the Mona Lisa Touch for women in Melbourne, the successful outcome of using Yes Vaginal Moisturiser (new product) and finally getting DHEA pessaries from a compounding chemist in Melbourne, but I'll wait until we have got some of our old members back into the group. Hope to see you in the group soon, either as an old member or a new one. Best wishes, DaisyMarigold.161Views0likes8CommentsWhat's happened to the love?
Hi all, thank you for the add to this group. I am a 49 yo who was diagnosed with dcis without hormone receptors in April this year. I was already 2 years into early menopause but apart from hot flushes, night sweats and being more emotional than usual, I was more than happy to be hitting menopause. Then came bc. I had a lumpectomy in May and started tch chemo in June. Well where has the love gone? Sex has become incredibly painful and it is the absolute last thing I fancy. My 1st 2 chemo treatments were horrendous with constant vomiting and runs. I spent 5 days in hospital 1st time around and after my second treatment they changed the carboplatin. I've not been as sick with the new regime but struggle with nausea and fatigue. My husband is scared to touch the breast I had surgery on and I had a port put in on the other side which he can't even look at let alone touch(me either for that matter. It's freaky and sore). I haven't discussed with anyone about the sexual issues as I just assumed it was part and parcel of all of this process. It feels as though my nether regions have shrivelled up and died. Maybe this is just menopause, maybe I'm just too tired and feeling too crappy or maybe it's all of the meds. I don't know. I miss the intimacy, I miss sex and I miss feeling normal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Regards, Karen5Views0likes18Comments
