Vagufem Low - anyone done trial of this who is Hormone Receptor +

Hi All
Now five years free. Have heard of post cancer  patients using Vagufem Low to help vaginal dryness and libido whilst on Tamoxifen . Anyone out there tried this especially if you are Hormone Receptive +
Want to ask my surgeon for advise.
Look forward to comments

  • Joanned you might get more info from the Lets talk about Vagina group ladies as it is a private group which wont show in google searches.

  • Just started it after my surgeon checked with my oncologist at my last check up. I have had almost 6 years of anti hormone treatment. Back on Tamoxifen this year after just over 3 years on Femara. My symptoms only started on Femara (Tamoxifen for 2 years before that). Am very hopeful that it will help but too early to tell yet.
I did feel a bit nervous about it but have put my trust in my oncologist giving the go-ahead. They are the experts.
  • Sorry, haven’t tried Vagifem but I am using Ovestin for vaginal dryness. I am hormone receptive, needed convincing (my breast surgeon was very informative and helpful), using a much smaller dose than he recommended and yes it is helping the dryness considerably. Hasn’t done a thing for libido sadly. Both problems started with using letrozole but after 7 years may now be compounded with age.
