Beating the blues without antidepressants
Just wanted to share with others feeling down and depressed as a result of menopause or post treatment.... My GP had prescribed an antidepressant for my hot flashes and low mood. Crying a lot and constantly anxious. Anyway stubborn me didn't want to take antidepressants as I live with a husband who has bipolar and I needed to keep my mind clear even with the tears. I've been taking NeuroCalm for months. 1 tab at night to help sleep. My naturopath suggested I take 2 or 3 per day to help with anxiety. Up the dose a week ago and I feel like a new woman. No more crying over spilt milk. Actually feeling rather chilled and don't give a shit about much. 🙄 Still have hot flashes but not as bad. Hope this helps someone xx2.7KViews3likes27CommentsLetrozole
Hi All I am on Letrozole and am having quite bad side effects. I have been on it for over a year now. I have decided to take a break from it for a week or two to see if the side effects improve. Has anyone else done this and if so how long did it take for the side effects to disappear? My main one is being very achy all over but especially in my hip plus overwhelming tiredness at times. I also get hot flushes but not too bad as I take Chinese herbs for that. It is such a nuisance especially travelling in the car or sitting for awhile. I can hardly move when I get on my feet. Thanks all Ady251Views0likes6Comments
