@Cath62 Thanks. The ultrasound shows no tear but tendons and bursa inflamed. According to my ultrasound report suggest instillation of cortisone into subracromial bursa. I cannot sleep very well as it get sore while I'm sleeping after some time usually around 4am I need to get up to move around abit. It's been a month now..doesn't seem to have any improvement. Hi, just wondering anyone has painful shoulder bursitis after radiation? If yes, what do u do to treat it? I had ultrasound on my shoulder on affected side n shows bursa n tendons inflamed. I cannot crossed my arm or reach my back. Dr suggests physio first if not improved will try cortisone injection. Has anyone did the cortisone injection n it works? Hi all, I have Grade 3 Stage 3 er/pr +ive her2 (neg) BC. Currently completed 4xAC and only 8/12 Taxol due to tinnitus and neuropathy. I will be having my radiotherapy soon for 25 sessions. So today had a discussion with my oncologist since I'm unable to complete my Taxol. He suggest that to have targeted therapy (Abemaciclib tablet) for 2 years together with hormone therapy. As Abemaciclib is not covered by Medicare and I'm not Stage 4 so it's very expensive. I was wondering anybody being put on Abemaciclib and whether the side effect is as bad as chemo (AC and Taxol) or manageable that you still can carry on with work and travelling? Hi I have this constant ringing in my ear after 8th Taxol especially at night or in a quiet room. I will let my oncologist know as well as getting a hearing test.
