I am based in Busselton and would be very happy to offer any support I could to you both as a fellow WA member.I am 43 and was diagnosed in August 18 I have just finished chemotherapy. I am totally aware to begin with things can be very overwhelming,please don’t hesitate to tag me and I am happy to chat online and help where ever I can. @JJ70 is an amazing soul who helped me and reached out to me at my time of initial diagnosis. Sounds like you are effectively juggling lots of balls in the air hon,it’s such a major roller coaster this journey isn’t it. Hey lovely my mastectomy sight has settled down and I am slowly getting done improvement from the lymph node removal sight..... Hi lovely Thankyou so much for your response after my final pathology came out after my mastectomy my diagnosis was changed from triple positive to ER and PR positive and HER2- i hope your treatments are going well I start chemotherapy next Thursday..... Thankyou @Suzi_S61 its not ideal to be diagnosed only being in a relationship with someone 12 months and then have a mastectomy,but it’s never a good time for any of us in this situation :( Thanks for the info re the port I will look into it I also send you lots strength and healing and wellness in your journey as we all kick this crap to the kerb!!! Thanks @Suzi_S61 I felt like a bit of a twit....just totally overwhelmed I suppose with info :( glad to hear your port is sorted and sounds pretty straight forward? I am going to ask about one also The BN are amazing but due to my rural location my contact can be limited and predominantly phone based with them. My partner I have only been seeing each other long distance for 1 year and while he is very supportive he is also a deer in the headlights currently bless him. well done you,one more step forward to kicking this crap out of our bodies lovely xx8Views1like0Comments
