I get this too, classic Tamoxifen symptom. It’s the estrogen being taking out of your body. I do find magnesium at night before I go to bed helps. Bioceuticals is the best one. Ironically exercise helps too with the stiffness I try to do 10,000 steps on my iPhone health app each day. and every week I go and have acupuncture and remedial massage on my legs and ankles to clear out all the toxins that have accumulated. My health fund covers this and I just pay a gap payment of $35. I highly recommend doing something like this it really helps me. Good luck 😊8Views1like0CommentsTamoxifen side effects
I’ve been on Tamoxifen now since November and been absolutely fine. I was using a Generic brand Genox all good. The pharmacist gave me a different brand this time and since last week I have felt this crawling under my skin. I haven’t got hives just this irritating urge to scratch here there and everywhere. My mother is on letrazole as she too has breast cancer last year and unfortunately she has chronic idiopathic urticaria and has been talking to me a lot about her discomfort. My symptoms cocincidently occurred as I changed tablets. I feel like I’m losing my mind, could I have given myself this psychosomatically or is it a genuine symptom of the tablets. I’m also sweating a lot and up all night long needing a wee!! Hello, I got diagnosed with invasive breast cancer April 2018, since then I have had a double Mastectomy, Chemo and still have reconstruction and Hysterectomy to go as I have the BRACA gene. i am signed off till June 2019. Just before I was diagnosed I was promoted to a new position managing a team of 7. This position was absorbed by management in my absence and still is. My employer has now advertised my previous job (which I did for 3 years) before my promotion and has said my new position won’t be there to go back to when I finish my treatment in a July can they do this!! What are my rights? I love my job and am shocked at this as I thought my employer was a decent person, his wife suffered breast cancer years ago so I am shocked she is allowing this. To make things worse she is the HR Manager so her advice will not be impartial. Women should look out for other women. I have a massive car loan taken out to do the job and have accrued $20,000 on credit cards from medical bills. I have been paid 10 days pay in 9 months yet my employer seems to think he has been very supportive! Do I have a case for redundancy or unfair dismissal? Not sure where to go for advice.
