Re: Newbie
I hear you, my chemo was cut short by 7 rounds due to Neuropathy in my hands and feet. They are being overly cautious because 6 months before my BC diagnose' I was told by my Neurologist that I have Parkinson disease and the MRI found mineral deposits on my brain, that make no sense. So now I see a neurogenetsis so hopefully they can figure out what's going on. IM 40 BLOODY 6 YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!5Views0likes0CommentsRe: Free to a good home
I finding it hard to respond to you Zoffiel I don't won't any negativity with this, it is the reason why I gave my spiel about how some of you may think this is ridiculous. I can only hope the lovely person who ends end with my beautiful wig is the real deal, but if the person who ends up with it isn't - well that's something that person will have to live with. And for anyone who is to proud or for any other reason, if you email me privately it will stay that way - that's a promise.12Views2likes0CommentsRe: Free to a good home
Tried that one but unfortunately due to it being used twice they aren't able to give to someone, I even tried the beautiful volunteer ladies at the hospital, but the privacy act prevents them from knowing ( which is understandable). Thank you for the thoughts and ideas.14Views0likes0CommentsFree to a good home
This may be the wrong forum to put this but I can't find anywhere else suitable. I have a very beautiful and very expensive wig (worn twice for weddings) that I would like to give to someone, but there is a catch. This someone has to be doing it tuff, not physically or mentally, but financially. I have been fortunate in my battle, touch wood, with Breast Cancer (still being treated) financially . It made me sit back and think BLOODY HELL how do some people get through this. This battle for a large number of us is long, emotional, tiring, and costly. So I thought what little thing could I do to help and give a little light to someone going through the same as myself, but as I said this person must really need the wig and have no way of obtaining one due to their situation. This may be ridiculous to some but as I've stated I know I'm one of the lucky ones who have been thrown into this Breast Cancer mess (my battle hasn't been simple or easy and is nowhere near over), I also lucked out with the most incredible family and friends and they are all supportive, including in my thinking of giving my wig away to someone who really needs it. So if there is someone out there or you know of someone, please email me to discuss. It really is the most loveliest wig and would look amazing on most people. JUST TRYING TO ADD A LITTLE LIGHT TO SOMEONES DAY!!!!!!!454Views1like13CommentsRe: Sleep please
DON'T take any other medications (antihistamine or any herbals) unless ok'd by Oncologist and Pharmacist, it could have severe negative effects on your health. Only take what's been prescribed for you. I know it is tuff but unfortunately it's part of treatment it will hopefully settle soon and before you know it you'd have slept for three days, basically all day, that's what happened to me. You'll get through this, I promise.10Views1like0CommentsRe: Dental work while having Chemo treatment
I am a dental nurse and have been for about thousand years. I would do exactly what your Oncologist says and baby it through. If you are in no pain they can dress the tooth with a temporary filling material and possibly an antibiotic if required. They can even continue to do this for quite awhile as long as it doesn't flair up and the pain and discomfort doesn't become bad, then you will have no choice but to have it removed. Your general dentist can do this for you, it will say the expense of seeing the Oral Surgeon just for a dressing. Good luck and I hope you can get the months out of it you require, but if it does flair up DON'T leave it a couple of days to go back to dentist go immediately your Cancer health has to remain number one.18Views4likes0CommentsRe: Facebook
YOU LADIES ARE BRAVE AND BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! Unfortunately you have to remember that NSW is the nanny state we can't see, hear or speak no evil. How dare an advertising campaign show women rejoicing in their survival those evil doers will all rot in helll.....haahaa Yet our political parties can do whatever they want tell lies, fornicate with each other, be discriminatory and just in general be arseholes. The world has gone mad yet rest assured NSW will be SAFE from all this evil doing as stated before we are the nanny state of Australia.5Views0likes0Comments
