Welcome to BCNA’s Online Network. The same network you know and love, but now even better and with a single login for our digital tools.
Online Network has been designed around your needs, based upon your feedback. The platform enhances your user experience, security and accessibility, while connecting you with other people affected by breast cancer. Most of your data, settings, and preferences will remain as you set them on the previous version. If you have any questions, please go to our Frequently asked questions page in the first instance. To ensure we do not miss any of your feedback or technical issues please log these under the Get in Touch form to ensure feedback is collected in the centralised area.
How to sign up and login
If you’re feeling a bit lost after reading our Frequently asked questions page, please call us on 1800 500 258 and we will be able to help.
Visibility of public posts and comments
Please be aware that your posts and comments in the public discussions and public groups can be found and read by anyone, including those who are not members of the network. This means that what you share in a public discussion or public group may be read by a wider audience, please consider this when sharing sensitive or personal details.
Community Guidelines
We have updated our Community Guidelines. Please read through the guidelines before starting on the Online Network to ensure that you understand how we can support you and your obligations as a member of the community. The guidelines include information about community safety, privacy, prohibited content, feedback process and the consequences of breaking these guidelines. If you have suggestions or questions about the community guidelines or any aspect of moderation, please call us on 1800 500 258.
Legacy Process
Our updated Legacy Process explains how members of the Online Network can record their wishes for what happens to their account after death - either to have it memorialised or deleted. It outlines the steps for submitting written consent via email and explains the important role of a family member or legal representative in confirming the death and enabling those wishes to be carried out. For any questions, members or family can call us on 1800 500 258.

Oh Man, this is frustrating. Just now took 3 tries to log in. Each time the pass code was rejected as "invalid".
This has happened several times since the new website was launched.
I am disappointed that Private Messages have not fully migrated across to the new platform. Where are all the old messages from the past years.
"Golly Gosh Magpies" (seeing that we cannot use the more expressive word that crows utter) BCNA you may well lose me as a member.
The little messaging group that five of us had going provided immense support. We rejoiced in triumphs, provided solace in sad times swapped recipes and craft projects.
I was heart broken to find that older private messages are no longer. How sad.

"Content Not Published Your post contains invalid HTML"
This issue can occur when someone writes the message in word with applied formatting. When you copy the message into Khoros it does not like the pre-applied formatting, so you receive that error when you go to post. This can also happen when posting images from an email or website.
For a written message - It is best to go to Notebook, write your message and copy and paste into Khoros. Notebook removes formatting.
For images - It is best to save the image to your device and then upload it into the post.
Thanks, BCNA Helpline

If you are simply typing in a response, as I am now, should it not work without any more fiddling around?

Good Morning everyone,
Just letting you know that the need to sign in each time has been identified as an issue and is currently being investigated. Hoping I can post soon to let you know when this is fixed and you only need to sign in every 30 days.
Thanks BCNA Helpline

New user 2 weeks ago. I received so much information before the changes and now I'm completely lost. I can't find any new info for my latest result!

Sorry to see you joining our exclusive little club Dayle .... yes, there are some teething problems that are being worked on by the team ....
What info were you after - we may be able to point you in the right direction xx
Maybe go to the "Newly Diagnosed" category & put up your 'story' so far - whether you've had your biopsy/surgery etc .... and members will then jump on to help you xxIt is always really scary getting a BC diagnosis ..... if you are feeling sad, distressed/angry ... I'd suggest you have a listen to Charlotte Tottman's podcasts on dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis - based on her own experience with her own double mastectomy, choosing to remain flat. She is an experienced BC Counsellor - and altho advising women how to cope with their diagnosis - found that it wasn't as 'easy' when she, herself was diagnosed xx. She is very easy to listen to.

Also, Raelene Boyle's ... Raelene was diagnosed at the same time that Lyn Swinburne (the founder of BCNA) was first starting her support for women with breast cancer.

A big welcome to all New Online Network Members ..... | Online Network
Take care & all the best

I need to log in every single time I come here. Itvis extremely annoying having to put a code in every time. Sigh

I agree puts me off signing into the bcna network

Disappointed to see a bleep in my above post - I did not use a profanity!
Hopefully this new format is sorted soon as glitches are annoying.
I tried to send a Private message to a fellow forum user over the weekend and the word Undefined appeared and message sent- I didn’t write nor send that message but it was received
- iserbrownMember
I hope this process of an OTP constantly is not a permanent addition - it is cumbersome and **bleep** right annoying! Especially when I haven't logged out!

After two failed efforts on my phone, I am trying my laptop. Which closed down after I checked in first time round - do we have to have a 'one time' password every time we log on? Let's see how we go this time.
