Zoladex, then oophorectomy

Hi.  Has anyone been on Zoladex, then had an oophorectomy?  Was there an increase in hot flushes after surgery?  Just trying to weigh up whether to go ahead with the surgery.  I’ve been on Zoladex for a year....

    yes I was on zolodex monthly for maybe 2 years.
    then a year ago I had oopherectimy. V easy process. 
    I was in overnight, although I could have gone home but with 3 little kids at home I’m always keen to get a full nights sleep.
    absolutly no change in symptoms. I still get a few hot flushes. 
    My thinking was it’s one less injection per month and it’s 💯 effective. 
    I’d say go for it. No negatives in my opinion

    Yes - as I don’t drive and I work full time, I find having the monthly injections a great inconvenience - it’s a 90 minute round trip just to see the doctor or nurse to do the monthly jab.  Don’t think I can deal with another 4+ years of this, so out with it!
