Hi Tinaw, CAT scans and other tests can be such a double edged sword, they can provide you with peace of mind, but equally they can uncover other, quite often unrelated, health issues. My first CAT scan showed a nodule on my thyroid and a spot on my liver. After several nerve-wracking days I got the results and both turned out to be OK. Try and keep busy to distract yourself as much as possible before you see your surgeon, very difficult I know, and here's hoping all will be OK for you. Jane xx
