Tonya makes a good point. This area is obviously very tiny if they looked and looked and could not find it. I had an area of suspected DCIS as well as an invasive tumor when first diagnosed. My surgeon did the biopsies herself and was able to see my calcifications with ultrasound and successfully carry out a biopsy. She did say that if her biopsy was not successful that I would have to have a mammogram assisted biopsy which sounds like what they tried for you.
I can imagine how unsettled you must be feeling but keeping as busy as possible will definitely help the time to pass more quickly until you can find out for sure what is going on in there. Keeping fingers crossed for you. Deanne xxx
