Welcome to the TNBC club which none of us wanted to be in. I am sorry you are having such a rough time with chemo - your ED experience sounded nightmarish and I do hope you are feeling better now.
Your post says you were diagnosed in November 2011, and only started chemo post-Christmas - which Christmas? 2011 or 2012? I am presuming 2012 - a year after diagnosis, when you had completed your research. Is this right?
I also had TNBC with clear nodes and margins, but my Oncologist felt that as there is so little in the arsenal to fight TNBC, let's blast any stray cells wandering about - thus chemo plus radiation followed by hysterectomy, so I agree 100% with your decision to have chemo. We really do have be warriors in this fight.
I can only tell you that after all my treatment finished in November, I have steadily improved in strength and spirit, and now feel back to normal - or as we call it, our 'new normal'.
You obviously have a great attitude, plenty of support and strength, and I wish you all the best. Take care and let us know how you are travelling.
