waiting for the biopsy result after lumpectomy

I had lumpextomy and sentinel node biopsy on 7/8 at Mater. All happened so fast after I received recall for beast screening and biopsy result on 30/7. so far everything is working fine. I'm anxio...

Hi Lilliekatt,

I did not use a cold cap(not offered) but did use cold gloves and cold foot coverings during my treatment with Docetaxel.  This was offered free with chemo treatment at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney.  I did not have any problems with nails.  But did loose my hair during the earlier treatment with FEC.

Good Luck with your results and I think it's best to not worry yet about treatment that you may not need if you can..
