waiting for the biopsy result after lumpectomy
I had lumpextomy and sentinel node biopsy on 7/8 at Mater. All happened so fast after I received recall for beast screening and biopsy result on 30/7.
so far everything is working fine.

Sorry to hear you are on the dreaded bc ride but glad you've come through surgery so well. Waiting for pathology results can do your head in for sure. Yes,it's good to prepare yourself for the worst but still hope for the best. If your lymph nodes are clear then you feel like you've won the lottery.Don't think too far ahead cos you may not need chemo.I didn't have it with my first bout of breast cancer - just the lumpectomy,full node clearance and radiation. Good luck for next Tuesday for clear margins and clear nodes.
