I know what you mean about supporting friends and family and reassuring them you will be okay but really you don't know if you will be okay yourself.I was thinking more of a group of BC ladies in your area that get together and support each other. We can see if we can find such a group for you if you like. What area do you live in. This sort of support group is great because these people know exactly where you are coming from. But chatting away here I find helps so much as well as you find there are so many other women going through what you are going through or been through it so will have some advice.I had a lumpectomy and total axillary nearly 1 1/2 years ago followed by chemo and radiotherapy. I am now getting my life back and getting on with things the best way you can. What treatment have they suggested or will they wait until after your surgery and put a plan together for you. I know everyone finds that once there is a plan they can get things sorted and just get on with it which can be better. It is a very scary ride you are on Melanie I know but it is doable luvy and with the support and love around you I am sure you will get through. Please come back and chat some more.Lots of love,Mich xoxoxo
