Hi helena,
well you have had a pretty rough time lately. I too was recently diagnosed and am 55 also, still waiting on my results from pathology so at this point I am unsure of the road ahead.
I was given loads of information when 1st diagnosed and it took me a while to read through it all, and then check out websites etc. This sites seems to be very supportive with loads of information.
Good luck with your journey, I'll watch for your posts.
