I have been blown away by the kindness of everyone and the nurses have been fantastic.
I was allowed to wear my headwear into theatre with a surgical shower cap thingo over the top and I woke up with it on my head, I was so worried about people seeing my bald head. On a postive note @kiwi angel at least I don't have to worry about a ponytail just yet 😀.
I've been given a FREE soft bra and post surgical prosthetic, a drain bag and pillow. I feel pretty lucky and weirdly grateful right now.
