swelling hand
Can anyone give me any advice or helpful tips,i have just recently expericened a very sore arm then some swelling in my hand ,i have had a mastectomy with nodes 22 removed in dec 2011.

Yes it is in the arm that i had surgery on , i did have a few little scratches on the wrist that healed easily so i am suprised that this has happened .My breastcare nurse did recommend some one and i went to see them, but i didnt really get anything out of it , the therapist didnt seem certain it was lymphodema , she used some tape on my arm .it didnt do much and cost me $80. Now i have asked to see the pysio at the hospital who apparently has just been trained in lypmphatic drainage , this seems to be a gray area with no one really qualifed around the area i live in.
