Surgery day tomorrow
Right mastectomy with axillary clearance pm tomorrow. Feeling very anxious. Not sure I'll get too much sleep tonight but keen to get this done! Recieved my berli bra in the post today tho

Hi Melinda, I am too going to have a mastectomy on the other side & reconstruction of both after treatment finishes. The surgeon didn't say anything about sentinel node testing but I imagine the tissue from the mastectomy will go to pathology just as a precaution. Best wishes.
