hi all
I went to see the doctor today re the biopsy result and I was informed that I need to go back to have more tissue taken out and it looks like I might need chemo but all will be confirmed following the surgery on Monday next week and the result of the test. So we go back to where I was last week. I am thinking that if I have to do another one, after Monday, for more tissue to be taken out that I will opt for a mastectomy. I just don't want to keep going back again again to be 'sliced' slowly and I want the peace of mind.
Is this common?
If any of you have been through a similar condition to mine what was your option and what was the result?
