Hi @Shaylls - I can only agree with Socoda and Melclarity.
Some days it can hit you like a brick and it may be either a visual or a mental thing that can set you off - perfectly normal !!
Given that prior to your diagnosis you were not sick and so the shock of diagnosis, surgery and follow up treatment can be so overwhelming.
We think that we are able to prepare ourselves for what our "new" bodies might look like but nothing can prepare us for the reality.
It may come after the dressing first comes off, in the shower, in a change room at a department store, trying on a favourite outfit that used to fit perfectly .....
