Recovering from mastectomy - what should I expect?

Having single mastectomy in the morning.  Not quite sure what to expect in terms off pain levels,  recovery time (been told 3-4 days hospital,  then take another 2-3weeks off work). I know I'll have ...

Well done YOU!!  Take it easy over the next couple of days tho, @Skinnylatte  - let your family & friends spoil you .... it takes a while to get the anaesthetic out of your system & bumps (in the road aren't good - so whoever is driving make them aware that bumps aren't good!!)
