I am 4 months out from surgery and still have blue/green stains around my nipple.
I can't believe I have forgotten this detail (that might be reassuring for you) but I don't recall the dye being put in, so I presume it was after I was under anaesthetic ...although I had scans on the morning of surgery to find the sentinel nodes, so there must have been a tracer/dye for that...?
What I found alarming was the bluey-grey colour of my face for 12 or more hours post surgery, as well as the alarming cour of pee and poo for a day or so!
