Hi, I also got an infection post-mastectomy - although nearly 6 weeks post-surgery as my wound reopened. Was on antibiotics for a really long time (admitted into hospital for IV antibiotics, then on Baxter bottles and also oral for awhile) so I know how you feel.
Just take things slowly...small steps. Getting drain out is a good step forward! And totally agree with the comments re. fresh air, sunshine, cafes. All of that helped me just take it day by day.
And continue to 'fight' for what you know is best for you.
