No Reconstruction Group

Hello ladies

I joined the No Reconstruction Group as I made the decision that further surgery is not warranted and perky boobs would not suit my white hair !

Please see the recent post by Soldier Crab in relation to an external website.

I do not know who the Facilitator of the BCNA Group is but perhaps she could get the Group active ?

Maybe members could make comments as to their thoughts and needs.

If ladies add their State to their replies the Facilitator may be able to arrange some sort of get-together so ladies can get personal support.

Any ideas anyone ?

    Thanks.  I will remain with BCNA only.  I guess I can ask questions here and if anyone is a member of both Groups and they see my questions they will no doubt give me some valuable input.

    I don't know much about the other site so will stay away from it for the time being.

    Good luck with the FB Group.

    Summer I am not sure I can keep up pace with the facebook page and post it all here yesterday alone were about 100+ posts from the ladies in various parts of australia. ... 

    Would you be happy for me to post your comment with Just "Summer" as you name on the page... then give you the replies here. ? 

    I know a few of the ladies are on here also but come here much. 

    Glad you are having a break ....

    yes it will be great to see other women join, its a great support group and really good being able to talk to other women that understand exactly what we are going through and our concerns.

    Yes we are hoping to support other women via facebook who have made a decision to not reconstruct.

    did you choose not to have reconstruction? 

    did you have to reverse your reconstruction?

    Whatever the case, we would love to see you here 

    Many of us can understand the day to day issues unique to living without reconstruction following mastectomy, in Australia. We can figure it out together.

     

    So feel free to open up and have a vent or express yourselves in any way you need to! We do not judge or discriminate! We believe in embracing each other and accepting each other's differences! No matter what!

     

    You need information about services or where to go for  foobs etc just ask.

    in 24hours we have over 15 members, from all parts of Austalia.
