Ring your surgeon's receptionist every day to check for cancellations.This happens all the time and you might get in sooner.It's ok to wait but your levels of anxiety might escalate if you have to wait the 3 weeks just to SEE the surgeon.I' remember how anxious I was when I got the bc diagnosis. I saw my surgeon within days and had surgery within 2 weeks the first time and 3 weeks the second time.I just wanted it over with.I've gone through this crap bc journey twice-2003 and then again in 2010-same breast. Just channel your anger into being proactive and keep ringing! sending hugs, Tonya xx
