Hi Christina, I took up the suggestion of getting a U shaped pillow (you could even get a couple - Kmart $12-00). Helps to prop you up in bed and because you are going to have drains you're going to need to sleep on your back initially. These pillows make life comfortable. Also get some Micropore tape from the chemist as I found my drains were moving slightly and getting quite sore and a strip or two of micropore to really anchor the drains in place made a huge difference to how sore the drain site was. I also got some Biosource (brand) Skincare oil - this is exactly the same product as Bio Oil but so much cheaper. Oh also either ask for some extra thick dressing pads or buy some from chemist as you use these to slip under your mastectomy bra and create a buffer between your suture line and the bra line as that area can get quite tender and the dressing pads make life a lot more comfortable.
