Welcome to this wonderful network ,where you will get all the advice and support that you need.As Tonya said,a mastectomy is not really painful,you just need the front opening things for a few weeks because it can be uncomfortable to lift your arms above your head.Make sure you do all the exercises that you get given,because it really speeds up the recovery time.Remember to put things at home at bench height,like cups ,coffee etc.so you can still do things.All the best and stay in touch.Robynxox
