Hi
Yes the waiting is so hard and scary and yet also a good time to spoil yourself with diversions if possible - go to lunch, etc with friends, pamper yourself with a pedicure, etc. I'm not sure if you have children nor how old but I spent time visiting my children or they came home for a couple of days.
My story is very similar to yours just 4 weeks or so earlier - discovered lump, GP, ultrasound, etc then left brest mastectomy and 4 nodes removed. Although knowing that treatment was going to include chemo, radiation and hormone was scary in itself once a map of the treatment started to take place I was more settled and I'm sure once it stats I'll be even better.
Reading many comments from the wonderful ladies here on bcna has been so supportive, allayed many fears and answered many questions. Remember no question is silly and no judgements are made.
I will be thinking of you and hope the pathology report is positive.
Take care, Dette xxx
