While I haven't been through what you are going through BCinParis I had a lumpectomy a few months ago during a cold snap. I layered long sleeve button-up flannelette shirts with zip-up fleeces and jackets to be able to take items off without too much stretching or wrangling. Zips in particular were quicker and easier to handle.

I cannot add anything really buit the hot flushes are awful. I am in Melbourne where the weather is very changeable and I wear layers too. I wear a soft merino or cotton long sleeve t shirt underneath (unless it is hot.
I wear light jackets layered that have buttons down. the front and take things on and off.
Wishing you all the best.
