Hoping all went well with your surgery Aussie!
I am recovering from my bi lateral mastectomy (24/6) and am now in the middle of reconstruction (expanders).
Yes, you will have lost a part of you and it's quite scary and surreal, but I fond when i looked at my chest for the first time after surgery....I felt at peace....this surprised me as I thought I would cry......I was at peace with my decision....I was rid of that evil bitch that tried to kill me!
I hope you get that same feeling.....
