Just wondering, i am 1 week post op for mastectomy and removal of lymph nodes. Where the nodes where removed is sore and swollen but soft. Is that normal?

- SisterMemberFor me it felt as if it was being rubbed raw but there was no redness or chafing when examined. I ended up taping some really soft padding (the stuff they put under casts) under my arm as that seemed to help a lot.Sign in to react to this post

Felt a bit more swollen last night so I used an ice pack which helped a lot. It seems to get more sore towards the end of the day for some reason.Sign in to react to this post
