Looking for information re: scans or ultrasounds after having double mastectomy
i had a double mastectomy 4 years ago and was wondering if anybody has been offered a scan or ultrasound of the chest wall post treatment.
I have an ultrasound every 6 months. I also recently had a ct scan of the chest as I have a bony protrusion. Turns out my rib is thicker there and because there is no flesh left to cover there is only 3mm of skin covering the bone. It bruises easily with movement so I have to be careful not to over stretch things.
