Hi there @Spillsy. Get all your options together get the advice from your team then sit down and think about what you want to do. I took both mine off for several reasons but did i the plain old normal one as you liked to call it. Are you having a recon at the same time ? That might help you decide. I guess if it was me I’d take the one that has the best outcome for you.
If you live in qld and want a recon I highly recommend you have it done immediately if you can as the wait times up here are up to 5 years which I wasn’t told about until after my surgery. Unless you go privately of course. But this will depend on the type of treatment you have as radiation plays a part in the recon decision making process. Big hug. Margie xx
