Hysteroscopy and d.c
hi
i had a hysteroscopy and curettage 10 days ago, after only had light bleeding for 1 day no pain really, now today have heavier more period like bleeding with more cramping like a period,is it usually to get a period that soon after having a curettage, wouldn’t linings not be built back up by then to get s period? I probably should call and ask but they forgot to give me the information to come home with,so been googling information.thought someone might have had one on here?

Hope you were able to get some medical advice and you feel a little more settled

Has a nurse from the Hospital rang to follow up?
I've had this process twice through a private Hospital and they have always followed up to check on me. I haven't had your symptoms.
However, we are all different and regardless if I were you I would be ringing the Office of the Specialist or the Hospital.
You have mentioned two out of three here so yes get on the blower!
From the internet:Notify your physician if any of the following occur:
- You have a fever greater than 101 degrees.
- You have severe pain or cramping.
- You have heavy vaginal bleeding.
