I don't believe this is common and I think you should at least see your GP about the ongoing bleeding with no known trauma. Perimenopause can be a difficult time but you need to ensure that is why it is happening. You would normally be aware if you had a catheter but that would be pink urine (and resolved by now) and not menstrual blood. Hope you find a solution soon.
