Hormones post surgery

@LisaO Welcome! Sorry you have joined us, however there is alot of support here! I'm sorry you have to go back to surgery, that's tough after what youve just been through. I can't offer much sorry, I'm 49 but unfortunately I had a recurrence at 47 and Chemo threw me into Menopause uuugh. I had a single mastectomy/diep flap reconstruction in Feb this year, and well my periods had already stopped thanks to Chemo. It could be coincidental, but I hadn't heard of surgery having an affect on hormones. Hopefully some others may have experienced something similar. Maybe you could ask your Breast Care Nurse too, they may have an idea. Hugs Melinda xo
