I had mine removed as I was still ovulating and wanted to avoid the zolodex injections that would have been necessary for me because I'd been prescribed aromatase inhibitors.
I was also nervous about ovarian cancer as there has been a bit of that in my family (no idea if it's genetic, but it was another 'con' when it came to keeping them)
Having your ovaries removed plummets you into deep menopause. I can't say it was pleasant at the time, but things eventually settled down.
I don't regret it for a second, but be prepared for the potential that you might be uncomfortable for a while. Mxx
