Hi Mich
Thanks for replying. I just read Janeys poem and it sure does hit the nail on the head.!! I have the 'My journey kit' and it is fantastic. I read something from them most days. I'll have to look into the John Boyages one thanks for the suggestion. I have found the breast care nurses a godsend they truly are wonderful people. My CT and bone scans came back all clear yay. It turns out Ive got LVI as well and my surgeon was saying that at the meeting with the others (MDT ??) one of them suggested axillary clearance. They are saying I could stay with the chemo and radiation just add additional radioation to the arm pit or surgery the choice is mine there isnt a right or wrong one. I have decided to that the axillary clearance as well as a left side mastectomy with implant reconstruction and port insertion. I'm also doing a right side mastectomy but that will be later. This is all happening next week which I'm glad about my last surgery was a 29 day wait which sucked. Chemo probably a few weeks after surgery. So Im in a lucky position that I have chosen this, that I'm a canidate for implant reconstruction right away and also its all getting done in one surgery and so quickly. Having read various storys here I do realise that I am truly luckly and I'm thankful for that. Was just reading the lastest Beacon 'The kindness of strangers' was that you one of the beautiful woman that was there when Tania woke up from her surgery ? What a amazing thing you ladies did well done. Hope your well xxx
