Dried blood Collection.
A friend in America has just had a double mastectomy. Apparently she has dried blood in the surgery area. The surgeon has told her that he may have to operate to remove it if it doesn't emulsify by it...
Another detail. The dried blood is on the left side at the top. The surgeon wants to make another incision at the top to suction it out, he has left a drain in to see if it helps. My friend is worried about the procedure as it means more surgery, another scar, and she has never heard of this before.
