Drawn Mastectomy
Just before being taken into surgery, whilst waiting in the pre op room, my surgeons offsider (little lady with huge attitude - ugh) came to my side and told me to lift my arm. She then started drawin...
My surgeon not only drew but took pre-op photos. He told me what he was doing beforehand but didn't speak after that. It's usually done sitting. With any surgical removal they put a dot at least on the side to be removed...so they don't get it mixed up.
Yes it was confronting as it was the last time I would see my true breasts.
