Wow i forgot all about this but @BlackWidow reminded me. So im waiting in preop before mastectomy and they said so what are you here for today and i answered right mastectomy. There was a kerfuffle they ran off with the paperework making phone calls as and i layed there for ages till they finally admitted the breast nurse had written up left mastectomy in stead of right. They had been ringing down to clear up the mistake hence the delay. Then i got all muddled, totally devastated and stressed out and couldnt even remember which side myself. Then when we established it was indeed right side I made them draw on me before i went to sleep. Anaesthetists were incredibly kind to me i had lost the plot by then. 2 years later its a supresed memory think i will supress again.
